Create a wash on your drawing sheet. Sprinkle some table salt on the sheet before the paint dries. The salt will affect only the wet areas. Once the painting dries, wipe off the salt crystals with a soft, dry cloth.
STAMPING
Dilute the colour in a palette & lightly dip the dry sponge in the colour. Now create
impressions onthe water colour paper. You can repeat this method after the first layer dries & create amazing collages.
Dry brush technique is used to create textures. Dip the brush in your colour and then remove most of the liquid from the brush with a blotting paper or a dry cloth and create strokes on your drawing. This effect is extremely useful to depict grass or the fur of an animal.
